Race Day Details
The 18th Annual Sean T. Smith Memorial Just A Short Run (JASR) is a benefit race for
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Event Start Location
8:30 am start for 30K in the Boathouse parking lot
Approximately 8:35 start for 5K, 8.1 and Half Marathon at the Tennis Courts
Both Starts merge about .4 miles into the race.

In order to accomplish this we are eliminating the smaller age group medals, but will now provide engraved custom plates for the backs of the finisher medal to add your age group placement if you are in the top 3 in the following age brackets by race.
Age Group Awards
Top 3 Male and Female in each age group as follows:
1/2 Marathon & 30K Age Groups:
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65- 69, 70-79, 80+
5K & 8.1 Mile Age Groups:
9 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+
No duplication. i.e. you win in overall or masters division, than you are not eligible for age group prize. Allows more people to win.
- Per current USATF guidelines, all overall placements and masters awards are based on gun time.
- Age group awards will be based on chip time.

Weather
We will run in rain or shine so please come prepared. We will have a covered & secure bag drop at the finish line area.

BAG DROP
A secure bag drop will be available outside the North Park Boathouse for participants to leave a change of clothing, or other post-race needs. It will be in an enclosed tent located outside this year. Look for our large 13' high Bag Drop banner
Please put all your belongings in a bag, ensure it will stay closed and prior to arriving CLEARLY mark the bag with your race bib number and your name if possible. Volunteers will assist with the collection and will retrieve your bags after the race.
Please do not place valuables in these bags. Although we will have volunteers to watch over them, we suggest you leave the valuables locked in your car. We are not responsible for any valuables left in bags.
